Spend an entertaining, down-home evening with Kurt Sutton, performing as master storyteller Samuel Clemens a.k.a. Mark Twain, as he brings his one-man tribute to The Canyon. Sutton's family-friendly and very funny show includes a sing-along of period songs like "Down in the Valley" and "Old-Time Religion," along with theatrical enactments of beloved stories from Huckleberry Finn, Roughing It and more. Sutton's portrayal of Twain follows years of research into the great American writer and humorist's life and works, including the speaking tours that formed the roots of modern stand-up comedy. Love the Spazmatics. Hilarious and damn good at what they do: parroting the top 40 hits of the 1980s. They are fun and creative. If you get a chance GO. On the flipside, the Canyon club is still badly in need of a bathroom makover. BADLY. Men's room is a disgrace. No place that charges $35 for a meal should be allowed to have bathrooms that look like this. Not kidding--gross.
The Spazmatics (also known as Square Wave) are a hilariously cool science nerd ’80s pop synthetic new wave dance show. Their material consists of songs by Oingo Boingo, Duran Duran, Thomas Dolby, Billy Idol, and many more.
