Five-time Grammy-winner Michael McDonald's smooth soul baritone, stellar songwriting and distinctive look have made him a pop-music icon ever since he broke through with the Doobie Brothers in 1975. His tenure with the group produced major hits like "Real Love," "Takin' It to the Streets" and "What a Fool Believes," among others. And even after going solo in 1982, he manned the top of the charts with tunes like "I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near)," "Yah Mo B There," "Sweet Freedom" and "On My Own," his No. 1 duet with Patti LaBelle. Since then, he continues to blaze new trails, with projects ranging from a platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated album of Motown covers to a tour with Donald Fagen and Boz Scaggs and even a guest appearance with indie rockers Grizzly Bear. He'll play his favorites and more when he hits The Canyon for this concert. Learn More

Love the Spazmatics. Hilarious and damn good at what they do: parroting the top 40 hits of the 1980s. They are fun and creative. If you get a chance GO. On the flipside, the Canyon club is still badly in need of a bathroom makover. BADLY. Men's room is a disgrace. No place that charges $35 for a meal should be allowed to have bathrooms that look like this. Not kidding--gross.
The Spazmatics (also known as Square Wave) are a hilariously cool science nerd '80s pop synthetic new wave dance show. Their material consists of songs by Oingo Boingo, Duran Duran, Thomas Dolby, Billy Idol, and many more.
