Parking is convenient but you'll need change for the small outdoor lot down the street. The Kofman Auditorium is part of Alameda High School, for those who might be otherwise confused.

I saw the revival on Broadway in NYC recently and must admit that I was afraid that the Alameda production would be weak in comparison - but I was happily surprised! These actors can REALLY sing (and dance). I also expected the troupe to shy away...continued

This was a very moving, engaging performance. Excellent cast, brilliant staging, terrific orchestra and singing. We both cried more than once. Lots of wonderful, fun details, such as cast members greeting us outside the venue before the show to...continued

America’s first and most revolutionary rock musical, “Hair” opened on Broadway in 1968 at the height of the Vietnam War, exploring the counter-culture and anti-war movement prevalent at the time through exciting rock music.  This show explores the forces that shaped America in the 1960’s including equal rights, sexual freedom and environmental activism. This production contains strong language, adult themes and nudity. This production is rated R.
