didn't realize how lenghtly it woudl be. some of the numbers were overkill. questionable ending with no explanation.

Comedy unfolds both onstage and off in this story of a musical production of The Taming of the Shrew where the leading actors’ tempestuous relationships, tap-dancing mobsters and backstage mayhem create havoc for everyone involved. Featuring the sophisticated music and brilliantly clever lyrics of a master of both, Cole Porter’s “Kiss Me, Kate” contains many of musical theater’s best compositions, from the saucy double-entendre of “Too Darn Hot” or “Why Can’t You Behave?” to the heart-wrenching “So in Love.”
