Life of Artist Joseph I Explored
Paul "H.R." Hudson, also known as Joseph I, was the legendary lead singer and frontman of Bad Brains. His explosive live performances helped pioneer hardcore punk while delivering an enlightening message of positive mental attitude. H.R.'s heavy devotion to the Rastafarian faith guided him in a spiritual direction, causing him to leave the band several times to explore his love for reggae music. Over the years, H.R.'s increasingly unpredictable and abnormal behavior has many convinced that he is suffering from mental illness. Finding Joseph I illustrates the real story behind the legendary singer's life, career and struggles. Featuring never-before-seen archival footage, photography and exclusive interviews, Finding Joseph I makes its way to The Regent Theatre in Arlington.
