The seventh installment of Synetic’s renowned “Silent Shakespeare” series is a provocative take on the Bard’s dramatic masterpiece. Director Paata Tsikurishvili brings lightness to this dark and violent tale of a king’s descent into madness and his search for humanity. This eye‐popping production, packed with apocalyptic visuals, farce, knife‐play and acrobatics is performed in Crystal City, VA. at the Crystal City Theater.

Overall, Synetic has earned 83 Helen Hayes Nominations and received 21 Helen Hayes Awards, garnering acclaim for its “Silent Shakespeare” repertoire (Hamlet…the rest is silence, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, _Antony and Cleopatra _and Othello).
