Maple and Vine finds a thoroughly modern couple opting to eschew 21st-century society to return to simpler times. Katha and Ryu, a successful but disaffected duo living in New York City, meet a charismatic man from a community of re-enactors who live as though it's now (and forever) 1955. Deciding to trade their cell phones and sushi for cigarettes and Tupperware parties -- their wi-fi for hi-hi -- this couple soon discovers that it's not so easy to exist authentically in a world stunted by outdated gender, race and sexual attitudes. This well-reviewed comedy by Jordan Harrison offers a provocative look at what some people are willing to give up for a life of ignorant bliss. Learn More

Written by Lee Blessing
Directed by Ellen McQueen
In Great Falls, Lee Blessing contrasts the great American West — with all of its promises of adventure, wonder and epic exploration — and the less-heroic journey of a writer and his alienated stepdaughter and their battle to overcome their own unwise and only half-intentional betrayals of self and of those they love. These characters discover a modest but piercing wonder in imperfect reconciliation.
