Hailed by Time Out New York as "a masterpiece," Lobby Hero finds drama, comedy and romance colliding in the lobby of a Manhattan high-rise apartment building. Written by Kenneth Lonergan (You Can Count on Me, This Is Our Youth), this 2001 Drama Desk Award nominee for Best Play follows ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances as hapless security guard Jeff gets caught up in a power struggle between his boss and two police officers investigating a murder. Jeff's boss, William, runs a tight ship, strictly upholding the laws and ethics of the building. But when William is suddenly called to bear witness against his troubled brother, the local cops and apartment occupants intertwine, while an attractive rookie cop must stand up to her seasoned partner. Truth becomes elusive and justice proves costly. Learn More

Terrific one-man show. Great, passionate delivery, although his Boston accent seemed better for JFK than RFK.
A couple details worth fixing: 1) the DC suburb of McLean, Virginia, is pronounced McLAIN, not McLEEN. 2) the Jefferson Starship album Red Octopus (one of the records in the stack by the armchair) was NOT released until long after Bobby died.
About the Ticket Supplier: Vintage TheatreVintage Theatre Productions was founded by Craig Bond and friends in August 2002, over martinis. This evening spent with friends launched our mission to bring the best quality theatre to the Front Range! We entered our space on 17th Avenue in 2008 and temained there for four years as we grew our company artistically. In March 2012 we decided to purchase our new location at 1468 Dayton St Aurora 80010, joining the Aurora Arts District.
We staged two shows the first year, nine in 2012...and now have three performance spaces under one roof with the Jeffrey Nickelson Auditiorium (145 seats), the Bond Trimble Theatre (67 Seats) and our lobby raised stage (60 seats). All areas are completely sound proofed, air conditioned, and provide a full bar service. And of course free parking!
