I like the selection of men that were present at this event.

Pros in the city did a great job with the event; however, there were not that many people. One would think that an event like this on a Saturday night in Federal Hill would be packed. Oh well.

Review from Susan

It was definitely a fun experience. Felt like we got a late start and it was super rushed towards the end - did not get to talk to everyone. More organization at beginning of event, during and afterwards.

A little bit of fun trivia: Did you know that speed dating was invented by Rabbi Yaacov Deyo, a teacher of the Torah in Los Angeles? It’s true! The Rabbi wanted to help Jewish singles meet others and marry; what better way than by meeting as many eligible singles as possible in the shortest amount of time? You’ll either feel that spark, or you won’t!

When you arrive, grab a comfortable seat at the table, but don’t get too attached to that seat because you’ll all be moving around a lot. With four-minute dating, boredom is not an option!

But here’s the best part: when the event ends, you’ll get to write personal notes by email to someone that you’d like to get to know. You can write whatever you wish – a friendly “hello,” with your name and phone number perhaps. Maybe you’d like to be a bit more adventuresome and ask someone out for a date.

If you’re ready for adventure, join Professionals in the City at the Mad River Bar and Grille in Baltimore! This hot spot was noted by the Baltimore Sun for its high, lofty ceilings and open feel. Located in Federal Hill, the Mad River is the perfect venue for a look and ambiance that is completely unique!

There’s no better place for speed dating in this upbeat atmosphere. Meet lots of new friends and take in the true Baltimore spirit of good food, good drink, and even better company!
