Great cast, but they couldn't do much with the material which is contrived. Sound was too loud for the small theater. Lighting was off. Waste of time. No wonder Toby's is trying to fill the house with discount offers.

Xanadu, with a very funny book by Douglas Carter Beane … is currently wowing crowds of all ages at Toby’s.” —Maryland Theatre Guide
“This is the show to see if you remember 1980 and want to reminisce with amusement … and want to find out what the hoopla was about. You’ll have a great time.” —BroadwayWorld

Xanadu is hilarity on wheels for adults, children, and anyone who has ever wanted to feel inspired. You will enjoy this camped-up spoof of the 1980s movie starring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly.

It is a hilarious, roller skating musical adventure that rolls along to the original movie hit score composed by pop-rock legends Jeff Lynne and John Farrar.

Memorable songs include “Magic,” “All Over the World,” “Have You Never Been Mellow” and “Xanadu.”
