The National Acrobats of China troupe was founded more than 50 years ago and ranks as one of the most influential acrobatic troupes in the world. The company has taken part in the foremost international acrobatic competitions and festivals, and has enthralled audiences in more than 30 countries. These rigorously trained performers often use objects of daily life—chairs, tables, poles, ladders, bowls, plates, bottles and jars—as props in shows that feature an eye-popping array of acrobatics, contortionism, martial arts, drumming, and dance. Their precise movements and flexible showmanship combine for unforgettable displays of magic and wonder.
