Concert Celebrating 60 Years of Detroit Soul Music
The music of Motown was more than just the soundtrack of a generation -- the smooth and soulful sounds of groups like The Four Tops, The Supremes and Gladys Knight and The Pips played a pivotal role in racially integrating popular music at a time when much of the country remained segregated. Celebrating 60 Years of Detroit Soul Music at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills is a concert salute to Motown founder Berry Gordy and the music he helped to create. With a house band made up of top L.A. session musicians and plenty of surprise celebrity guests, Celebrating 60 Years of Detroit Soul Music is one of the hottest musical events of the year.
