A Tony, Grammy and Drama Desk Award-winner and a member of the Theatre Hall of Fame, Barbara Cook was once Broadway's favorite ingénue and, of late, has been enjoying a career as a concert and recording artist. Throughout her esteemed career, Cook's silverly soprano has retained its pure tone and warm presence, to much critical and popular acclaim. In 2010, at the age of 83, she earned a Tony nomination for her performance in Sondheim on Sondheim
on Broadway. Cook has performed with a number of symphony orchestras, in cabaret settings and at such esteemed venues as Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center and London's Royal Albert Hall. For this show, she'll share the stage with Grammy-winning jazz guitarist-vocalist John Pizzarelli, who has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney, James Taylor, Natalie Cole and Rosemary Clooney.
