Homecoming: John La Farge Stained Glass Masterpieces Return to Boston

*This lecture coincides with the show’s premiere special exhibition of this masterful John La Farge (1835-1910) stained glass triptych, circa 1889, saved and donated to Boston College by William and Alison Vareika in September 2013. Presentations by William Vareika, William Vareika Fine Arts; Roberto Rosa, Serpentino Stained Glass, and Nancy Netzer, Director, McMullen Museum of Art, Boston College.

This lecture coincides with the triumphant exhibition at the MFA Boston through January 20, 2014. Hirshler, Croll Senior Curator of American Paintings at the MFA and co-author of the book on the exhibition; and Louis M. Salerno, Questroyal Fine Art, New York.
