1. Ice cream. 2. Kung fu movies. 3. Burning things. 4. Laughing so hard you shoot milk out of your nose. 5. Construction cranes. In Duncan MacMillan's Every Brilliant Thing, a young girl attempts to ease her mother's depression by creating a list of all the best things in the world. Through adulthood, as the list of things worth living for grows, she learns the deep significance it has on her own life. This heartwarming play recently made waves on HBO, and now, it comes to the Boston Center for the Arts' Calderwood Pavilion to explore depression and the lengths we go to for those we love. Norton Award-winning actress Marianna Bassham will perform in place of Adrianne Krstansky for the final three performances of this production.
