Multi-layered and multi-faceted. Very strong social messages and imagery. Music and acting is Fabuloso! Loved it. Terrific Left Orchestra seats within first 10 rows really helped too.

It must have been a very thin year on Broadway when they were giving out the Tonys because the musical is just ok. While the voices are beautiful (especially those of the two leads), the story line is pretty cliched and not terribly deep. I think...continued

It was sort of an odd little show, but enjoyable overall. I wasn't blown away by the vocals, as indicated by other reviews. I also was very pleased that my Mezzanine seats were actually Orchestra.

Amazing show. Great music, VERY talented cast, super choreography and use of props/set design. Certainly not for the faint of heart. I was surprised by our seats - orchestra within first 10 rows.

Outstanding production of a fascinating show. Tremendously talented cast. Great music, choreography. By all means see this show. Mature content; audience comprised of adults and older adolescents/college kids.

I thought that this was one of the better productions I have seen in Boston. The singing and acting is great. You may want to read about the show before bringing children to the production as there are portions of the show that are of a mature...continued

I thoroughly enjoyed the 1st act, it was sweet and funny and light; act 2 however was quite dark and heavy and not funny at all. it was, however, true to life and circumstances that result from truth and lack thereof;

Not for the faint of heart as this is a musical that hits on nearly every adolescent angst--from premarital sex to suicide to abortion to sexual abuse--but this is one amazing show. The music will stay in your head for days. The actors, although...continued

Great play, definitely sexual in nature and maybe not suitable for a younger audience. That being said, I thought it was great!

Worth seeing - a talented cast, interesting staging & set - but I was not blown away. No real memorable songs. Captures teen angst, but plot is thin & fairly depressing.

Had good seats providing great value for money form Goldstar! Frist time seeing it though have been a fan of the score for a long time. Some of the cast were weak and vocally a bit pitchy however the show is bigger than the cast! Great book,...continued

I actually found the show depressing. Where can you find masterbation, suicide, gay and teenage lovers, sex, beatings, abortion and death in 2 hours. Cast is very talented and songs are interesting but not a show I would go to again. One has to...continued

Very angsty. Fantastic music, and fun dance numbers. Only sit on stage if you're ready to get a bit up close and personal with the actors.

Having an extensive background in theatre, I felt I should have loved this show, but I simply did not. The young actors did an admirable job, although some were much stronger than others. I also had a difficult time understanding some of the song...continued
