imagines Shakespeare struggling to deal with his deteriorating mind as fact and fiction blur and he begins acting as a character in his own plays. When Richard Burbage, the leader of Shakespeare's acting company, tries to get the renowned playwright to return to London and to playwriting, Shakespeare must further wrestle with his suspicions, delusions, family resentments, regrets and final testaments. Steve Maler directs this joint production of Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Suffolk University.
