Terrific. Very moving. Well acted. Interesting staging that reinforced the plot tremendously. Definitely recommend this show. I would have paid full price for the ticket and still felt that I got a bargain.

A perfect play - a deft, sensitive, and unusual treatment of an important issue, a top notch cast, a great set, music and lighting. What more could one want. Ideas and issues to chew on, mull, and discuss for a long time to come. Don't miss it.

Tribes started as am interesting and provocative play.. Great acting but the second act disintegrated into confusion. It was weak and did not delve into the characters in any meaningful way. It was almost enough to have a play lasting a bit over...continued

SpeakEasy is fast becoming my favorite theater company. I saw their produciton of "Clybourne Park". This was equally as good. Being hard of hearing and having worked as a trainer at relay center I found this show very moving. In the end I reflects...continued

We saw Tribes at the BCA - it was an excellent production and the acting was really impressive. Went to the BeeHive first, right there in the same building. They have the BEST cocktails, and sometimes we just get a few appetizers or split an...continued

This is a very complex play around the questions of identity, community and how it changes/evolves and the challenges in growing. Great play.

This is a fine, thoughtful and funny play which I saw in its original production in London and loved it.
This cast does it really well. Highly recommended.

We paid $30 for valet parking. To avoid that, check out the parking situation in advance.

Tribes was WONDERFUL! It was well acted play, poignant dysfunctional and funny family dynamics !
The only thing I wished is that the seating had allowed for better viewing of the communication between the deaf actors. The sign language was...continued

Compelling but slow going and abit long. While I did see ASL interpretors warming up in the hallway beforehand- if they took part during the play I could not see them from my seat. I found that quite disappointing given the topic at hand.

The play was very good, but we missed the first act due to difficulty finding parking. So that really colored the experience.

What a wonderful play! No joke. Seems to me we have a writer who is conversant with the issues in the deaf culture, but is not just teaching us about that, rather is bringing these to bear in a rich drama about human relations. The setting for...continued

Sensitive, provocative, beautifully orchestrated. Neglected issues regarding deafness were confronted passionately and presented from multiple perspectives. In addition, the issues of loss (be it hearing or other) as well as families/functional...continued

We had great seats for Tribe. Tribe is an intense and interesting play about a family with a deaf son. Billy has been brought up not signing and he lip reads. He meets a woman who is going deaf who is connected to the deaf community and he...continued
