We usually pack a little picnic and find a nice bench somewhere around the area...nice walks in neighborhoods - in nicer weather. If winter or rainy, we like the Temple Bar for a nice dinner beforehand, on Mass Ave going west back toward Arlington, but just outside the square, on left past the Starbucks.

Sanders is a terrific old building, so bathrooms were added much later on...the ladies room will have a long wait, at peak times. Try to use it as soon as you arrive, to avoid wasting the entire intermission in a corridor in basement!

We have been to the New Year's Eve or Day concerts several times and always have a very enjoyable evening. The music last night was wonderful and it was a fun way to welcome in 2013.
