Sorry to say but I just didn't like it. Very disappointing and definitely not up to Lifeline's usual standards in my opinion. The acting was quite stiff and most of the performers were just basically regurgitating memorized lines, not acting. ...continued

I'm not a fan of stylized acting. It's such an emotional story and it seemed almost cartoonish to me. This wasn't helped by using a puppet for the son. I understood why it might have been done, but it wasn't effective.
