Was everything that it was touted to be. Well paced and the actors were great. Really like the space at Profiles Theater.

Pretty straightforward rendition of a Chicago classic; entertaining, well-paced, good stage direction and set design; everyone should see it at least once; aka the every “actor-just-arrived-in-Chicago-this-is-my-first-play-here” production.

On my private rating system, 3 stars means "I liked it." Four stars is "I'm glad I didn't miss it" and 5 stars is "Must see for everyone." So this is 3 stars - if you are looking for an enjoyable play, this one will fill the bill. Konstantin...continued

Nice small intimate venue, probably not more than 150 seats. Surprisingly large cast and scary funny sad deep thoughts.
We BYOB'd, with a donation for glasses, straight from the Chinese restaurant across the street. Do it.

True to life cab stories - some funny - some sad - some unbelievable
Very large cast - everyone good in it.

Hellcab was a fast-paced, interesting play. The cabbie was outstanding with his facial expressions which told a lot about him. As the play continued, you felt like you were getting to know him which is what seemed to be the "hook" to get the...continued

This was a wonderful play. It's one night in the life of a Chicago cab driver told via little vignettes. Some are laugh-out-loud funny, some are serious, and some are quite poignant. Some of the acting was a bit wooden but the overall...continued

Great play & well acted! A real slice-of-life in Chicago that also explores important themes, such as what is our responsibility to the people around us as we go through our day-to-day lives. Both funny & touching. I hope Profiles Theater puts...continued

Hellcab was a wonderful, funny and poignant cross section of people who inhabit this wonderful city of ours. It all took place on Christmas Eve. Each fare
had a story to tell often letting the cab driver in on it,
much as one would involve the...continued

Experience with purchasing the tickets was perfect. The play on the other hand did not meet expectations. The review was much better than the play. Not the actors, but some of the skits just fell flat.

Entertaining production. I only wish that the usher told us where the best seating was so we could have sat in those seats,. since it was open seating. The usher was clueless. Also, it was rather terrifying when we were told there was no...continued

Great acting at a great little theater. Play was both funny and sad at the same time. Would recommend seeing. Would not recommend for those under the age of 18 or folks who can't handle raw language.

Gritty, fast paced look at part of our service industry often ignored. Very capable performances and set. Up tempo pace and frequent changes put the viewer in the action. The years HAVE been kind to this production. Would highly recommend.

I liked it but I did not love it. Too many short stories, like a couple of minutes each and there for me too short to care about any of the characters. There were a couple of sketches that were really funny.

At times funny, sad, interesting and vulgar, "Hellcab" reveals a cross section of Chicago inhabitants that a cab driver comes across in a regular day. I think it was realistic and definitely entertaining! The actor that plays the cabdriver is...continued

I saw this show once before back in 2000, and remember really loving it. The drama felt deeper, and the comedy funnier. Well, this time (2015) everything was pretty flat, kind of mediocre. The acting was just OK.
