Holiday Favorite Hellcab Returns For Another Ride Reviews & Ratings
Pretty straightforward rendition of a Chicago classic; entertaining, well-paced, good stage direction and set design; everyone should see it at least once; aka the every “actor-just-arrived-in-Chicago-this-is-my-first-play-here” production.report as inappropriate
Nice small intimate venue, probably not more than 150 seats. Surprisingly large cast and scary funny sad deep thoughts.
We BYOB'd, with a donation for glasses, straight from the Chinese restaurant across the street. Do it.
True to life cab stories - some funny - some sad - some unbelievable
Very large cast - everyone good in it.
Great variety of characters... wonderful lead.report as inappropriate
Experience with purchasing the tickets was perfect. The play on the other hand did not meet expectations. The review was much better than the play. Not the actors, but some of the skits just fell flat.report as inappropriate
Excellent show - great cast - a Chicago gem.report as inappropriate
Great acting at a great little theater. Play was both funny and sad at the same time. Would recommend seeing. Would not recommend for those under the age of 18 or folks who can't handle raw language.report as inappropriate
Gritty, fast paced look at part of our service industry often ignored. Very capable performances and set. Up tempo pace and frequent changes put the viewer in the action. The years HAVE been kind to this production. Would highly recommend.report as inappropriate
I liked it but I did not love it. Too many short stories, like a couple of minutes each and there for me too short to care about any of the characters. There were a couple of sketches that were really funny.report as inappropriate
I saw this show once before back in 2000, and remember really loving it. The drama felt deeper, and the comedy funnier. Well, this time (2015) everything was pretty flat, kind of mediocre. The acting was just OK.report as inappropriate
