Really enjoyed the performance, the singing was good (though there were a couple very minor sound problems).
The moderns day setting / interpretation didn't seem to add anything for me, but it disnt detract either.
They made the show work...continued

The performance was excellent! It was a very small theater, so one can really appreciate the acting of the performers. They did a great job portraying the characters and definitely pulled emotions out of the audience. I highly recommend...continued

Description

This theatrical adaptation of the popular fairy tale The Little Mermaid is the story of Ti Mouna, a black peasant girl who rescues, nurses, and falls in love with Daniel, a mulatto from a wealthy family. When Daniel is returned to his people, the island gods guide Ti Mouna on a quest to test the strength of her love against the forces of prejudice, hatred and death itself.
