The music is very accessible. One will definitely go home humming! Contrary to some reviews I read beforehand, I did not find that the plot ran out of steam. In fact, the beauty of the story, I think, lies in its ordinary setting and ordinary human life. How many small towns world-wide, have lost the industry that organized them around a common livelihood?
My main criticism has to do with the theater itself. I could barely see the front of the stage and its action from my mezzanine seats. There are deplorable choices to reach those seats: a small antiquated elevator or three steep sets of stairs to reach them. I took the latter. As the matinee crowd was huge, the prospects of needing to leave in a hurry are not good. This production might be worth main floor seating. . . . .

Michael Jordan is to steak houses as Sting is to musicals...a real sleeper! The talent was evident but the storyline and stage presentation lacked energy.
I would be surprised if this musical makes it past Cleveland.
