Parking can be scarce, so arrive early and if possible go on Sunday. The meters don't have to be fed.

As advertised, no Tchaikovsky and no ballet, but that doesn't mean no music and no dance. At the end they ask us to tell our friends if we liked the show, and I have been doing just that. Go!

Many new cast members, same wonderful evening. Last year I told families in restaurants to take their children. I'll do it again this year!

Quotes & Highlights

“Four out of four stars … Over the years I’ve watched families leave this show moving closer together. … It’s moving, family-friendly, richly imaginative and distinctive.” —Chicago Tribune

“Instead of bratty kids and sugarplum fairies, Jake Minton and Phillip Klapperich’s tightly spun book introduces a family wracked by tragic loss. But magic still abounds, and in quantities that will bring a tear to the eye of even the stingiest Grinch. … it’s a nearly flawless, truly essential all-ages holiday show.” —Chicago Reader
