Take public transit. The Sheridan stop on the Red Line is only a 5 minute walk to the theater, and parking in that area is not fun.

Quirky, darkly funny drama about our culture of fear, office politics and information overload. Great acting.

A tight one hour performance with witty dialogue. Enjoyable. Good value with tickets from Goldstar

A highly professional production. Not a stumble was made in this very verbal production. Great work!

Quotes & Highlights

“It’s Alfred Hitchcock meets Harold Pinter in the circle of interpersonal hell depicted in The Thugs.  This tight, tense, drama has been ideally cast and directed by Joe Jahraus.” —Chicago Sun-Times (Highly Recommended)
“_The Thugs _psychologically explores the insidious impact of gossip on idle minds…  I enjoyed it.” —Copley News Service
“As a portrait of lowest-level office politics, The Thugs is dead-on… Jahraus’s tightly choreographed direction allows just the right amount of quirk to seep through the seams.” —Time Out Chicago (Recommended)

The Thugs is a dark comedy about the mysterious things that are happening on the 9th floor of a big law firm. When a group of temps try to discover the secrets that lurk in the hidden crevices of their workplace, they realize they would rather believe in gossip and rumors than face dangerous realities.
