Black Violin is composed of classically trained violist and violinist Wil B. and Kev Marcus, who blend classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B and bluegrass music to create a unique and high-energy style they call "Classical Boom." Accompanied by drummer Nat Stokes and DJ SPS, Black Violin has spent the last several years performing for sold-out crowds across the country. R&B fans know Black Violin from their collaboration with Alicia Keys on her hit "Karma" and the duo has worked with artists as diverse as Kanye West, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Aretha Franklin and The Eagles. They also composed the score for the FOX-TV series Pitch
and have performed everywhere from SXSW stages to the Billboard Awards to President Obama's inaugural ball. Catch the genre-bending musicians on stage at Procter & Gamble Hall in Cincinnati's Aronoff Center for the Arts.
