The Umbrella Center did an admirable job with this one, although I felt that the actors started their performances a little bit too 'high,' leaving them with nowhere to progress by the climactic end. Having seen the original on Broadway, though, they did a quite admirable job, and the set and painting work was very well-done. Only other comment is that the Center needs to do a MUCH better job of marking entrances and using signage for their shows. The entrance and location for a first-time visitor was extremely difficult to find.

Wonderful setting for the show. The audience is on the stage which gives a great feel of being in the artist's studio. However, Mr Siriani does little to evoke the sense ot the artist who as stated in the script immigrated to this country as a...continued
