The show was fantastic. Great new sound system. Only complaint is the seats are narrow and hard so it was not comfortable to sit for the almost 3 hours!

The "brand new sound system" was AWFUL, and a few people were definitely miscast. Someone in the band was out of tune. That being said, the majority of the cast was pretty good, in particular the actor who played Terry. The actresses playing the...continued

This was a wonderful production of a little-known Broadway show. The new sound system that was installed was well worth the price; many community theater shows are plagued with sound problems, but the sound here was crisp and clear and mixed...continued

Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts makes really good choices for their prodcutions. First "Red" and now "Sideshow". You would think a show about Siamese Twins would be odd and really out there. Surprise, it's a very tradtional musical with a...continued

Journeyed all the way from Hingham to catch this show. Did this to see Next to Normal last year. These shows are not exactly mainstream Boston. But the productions are worth the trip. The choir I sang with (Lyric Theatre Singers of Montreal)...continued

I've seen a few productions at the emerson umbrella. They are always well put on, but the atmosphere is akin to a high school, which detracts slightly from the quality of the performance.

Terrific show--great voices, excellent sound system, compelling story with very real connections among the principals. Only critique was that the constant changing positions of the bleachers detracted from the flow of the show. No need to turn...continued

While the cast obviously tried very hard. There was a reason why nobody has heard of this musical. Not one memorable song.

I didn't know anything about the show or the company and was amazed at the quality of the performance....given that it was a community theater performance....and not an easy play to mount...good voices, staging, etc. Really quite a feat. I'll...continued

I guess my expectations were completely off. I was expecting something like "Little Shop of Horrors" musical as that is a really fun whimsical farce. When I saw the title: "SideShow - a circus act of conjoined twins" I figured that it had to...continued

Sideshow was a big undertaking for a small theatre company. The cast, many professionally trained, did well with a scaled down stage and limited costume budget. A few standout performances from Anthony Pires, Jr. as Jake, Tim McShea as Terry...continued
