This was a very entertaining show performed by a marvelous actor.
He puts a tremendous amount of emotion into his characters. It's
very challenging to put on a good one-man show for almost two
hours, but he succeeds. Definitely worth the money.

Better and more poigniant than anything I've seen at the movies or in the theater in the last two years! WONDERFUL! It was insightful, educational, thought provoking and funny! Need space for another star. I'd recommend it to everyone!

I've seen the show several times, mainly because it's not always the same each time I see it. He likes to change things. It really is a great piece of theater. His characters are rich, distinct, and real. He has a wide range as an actor, and...continued

The play was wonderful as was the acting. I can not say enough about how great an enjoyment it was for me and my friends, one of which is not a teacher, to see this performance. A job well done.

I've been following this show for a while, and it's one of those shows you can see over and over again. I brought my teenage son and he loved it. I hadn't seen him laugh and cry in the theater for a long time. This show is here to stay. I'll...continued

As a retired teacher of 42 years, who knows about the teaching profession and LAUSD, it was so realistic, poignant, and funny.
It is a must-see. Excellent on every level.

I totally enjoyed this show. With great wit and comic-actor talent, Jack Fry literally plunges into an unfamiliar chaotic world and comes out wiser, still groovy and inspirationally committed to a true calling of teaching. Bravo.

A very funny show with tons of heart, and social relevance. The audience laughed, cried, cheered, clapped, and gave Mr. Fry a standing ovation. Do yourself a favor and go see this show, it's what theater is meant to be.

Amazing autobiographical story of the real challenges that teachers face in inner-cities working within our bureaucratic system. My wife (a teacher herself) said this was very true to form. It will both move you and make you laugh out loud. ...continued

Jack Fry describes his first year of teaching in South Central LA. The show takes the audience on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Jack has amazing acting skills. A must see for anybody who has ever thought of teaching for a living.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Jack as Mister Fry succeed and fail as a first year teacher. I don't want to give away much but please, everyone, grab a friend and go see this show! It likely will change your life. Bring tissues, too.

While this show was entertaining, I can't agree with the rave reviews. Most character portrayals slid into over-the-top caricatures, which was fine for the comedic portions but reduced the power and honesty of the more touching moments. ...continued
