Family of 4: 35,18,17,15. Avoid traffic. Take BART (not packed) to Glen Park station.Free shuttle service from Bart to Cow Palace. Clean & comfortable 15 minute ride. Temperature drops in SF, so dress warmly. Drop off is right at ticket entrance. Bring your camera, dress in 1800 Charles Dickens attire, & get ready for the spirit of London Christmas. Plenty of entertainment (Santa, Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Father Time, etc.) dancing, plays, singing, gift or souvenir shopping $$$ (or window shop), food is slightly expensive. Example Gyro's $8 but very delicious. Bring cash but ATM is available. The whole place is full of hustle & bustle of the 1800's from constable's, pick pockets, different social classes of from the elite, middle,& low class. Great job on the London city street décor. Volunteers & visitors who was who?? Almost everyone was in the dress up spirit. Not many Asians during that time period in London but saw two Asian men dressed in 1800 Chinese attire carrying a dim sum basket. Loved how everyone made an effort and different nationalities came together to enjoy this festive event. A fantastic way to see when ladies were ladies (loved their dresses) and men were gentlemen (loved their suits). Great for the whole family of any age. Little one's will also be entertained, a great kid's area with a carousel, games, arts & crafts, puppet show. Teens are not forgotten, plenty of entertainment and adults even have an area designated just for you. ADA friendly. Hop on Bart or drive in (Parking $10) and enjoy the Dickens Fair. Thank you Gold Star for getting our Christmas spirit started. Bring this deal back for next year. The Soukphaly Family (Antioch, CA)
