Overall we had a good time. The band was great, the weather perfect, guests friendly... very relaxing. However if we had come just to relax, we would have signed up for the whale-watching cruise that preceeded us on the same boat (where they did see 2 whales!) Since the main attraction of this cruise was the live music, we had expected to be able to enjoy some dancing. However the event had too many people booked to make this possible. One could barely navigate sideways through the crowded deck to make it to the bar and back, let alone find space for 2 people to dance. As a result we opted to enjoy our diligently obtained drinks and relax on our upper deck seating, and just forget about the dancing altogether. The next time we want to go dancing on a boat, we will return to the Goldstar-booked dinner/dancing cruise we enjoyed so much last year in Newport Beach, CA.
Bands are current at time of publication, but are subject to change without notice.
Jackets are recommended, since it’s cool at night on the water.
No outside alcohol is allowed on board, but you may bring your own food.
