American Ballet Theatre, regarded as one of the world's finest dance companies, brings an evening of mixed repertory to the Kennedy Center. Michel Fokine's Les Sylphides is a romantic reverie with music by Chopin orchestrated by Britten. Tchaikovsky powers the D.C. premiere of ABT principal dancer Marcelo Gomes' Aftereffect. Based on A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sir Frederick Ashton's The Dream marks 450 years since Shakespeare's birth. For over 70 years, American Ballet Theatre has wowed audiences everywhere with their passion, innovation and athleticism. The New York Times called them "American ballet at its peak," and it's easy to see why. Learn More

Goldstar did it again with excellant seats in the 2nd row... Great seats and another unbelievable performance by the Big Apple Circus what more can I say..... If you have never been to the Big Apple before take advantage of seeing it this time around....
For those of you with kids it is the best because the clowns, with the exception of one, do not wear makeup!

About the Big Apple Circus:
It’s 30 years since the folks behind Big Apple created one of the most eagerly anticipated family traditions: The Big Apple Circus. They put the circus under a big top tent and gave their world-class artists the theatrical focus of one ring. The Big Apple Circus puts their audience right in the middle of the action--no one sits more than 50 feet from ringside, so even if you’re very small, you won’t miss a thing!
This all new 30th Anniversary show, Celebrate!, features comedy acrobats on the ground and thrilling acrobats in the air; high prancing horses and old dogs with incredible new tricks, soaring ballerinas, acts of renown and, of course, Grandma the Clown.
So, juggle that schedule and bring the whole group to see the Big Apple Circus. The show is new but one thing stays the same: The Big Apple Circus is your circus. Big Apple is back in town!
About the Ticket Supplier: Big Apple CircusAs a leading presenter of family entertainment and a not-for-profit performing arts institution, our nationwide performances and community programs have made our 34-year history far-reaching and full.
It all began in Kent, England, in 1974, when American entertainers and Big Apple Circus co-founders Paul Binder and Michael Christensen became juggling partners and took to the street corners of Europe. Their comedic juggling act was a hit, and they soon found themselves on the stage of the presitigous Nouveau Cirque de Paris. They returned home to America in 1976 with a vision: to entertain and improve the lives of millions. One year later, they found a site for the first tent-raising in Battery Park, New York, and went on to create the award-winning, not-for-profit Big Apple Circus.
