The play was enjoyable, funny and entertaining. Most of the performers had great voices. I especially liked Bloody Mary. Of course, I loved the music. I went with 5 others and we all really enjoyed the play.

Excellent production of a classic. The male lead has a world class voice. The entire cast seemed to really enjoy performing. The music was hauntingly beautiful and nostalgic. First rate.

Description

The classic Broadway musical South Pacific has a way of making grown men cry. Its lush music, wrapped around a story of racial intolerance, set on an island in the South Pacific in the 1940s during war-time, is moving and melodic. Songs include “Some Enchanted Evening,” “Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair,” “Nothing Like A Dame,” “Younger Than Springtime” and “Bali Ha’i” make this the most cherished and beloved musical theatre piece of all times.
