The Ballet company was very good but the dances were only mediocre in general.The orchestra did not resonate, whether it was the conductor or the accoustics. Disappointed for sure.

This dramatic work culminates with the appearance of a dark figure of Death, who claims the life of a woman in white as the horrified on-lookers swirl about her upraised body.

The Steadfast Tin Soldier

Based on the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, this is a sweet ballet about the innocent courtship between a tin soldier and a paper-doll ballerina. A poignant story of unrequited love.

Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux

A thrilling duet, Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux_ is set to unused music from Swan Lake_ that Balanchine acquired from the Bolshoi Theatre’s archives. Less than 10 minutes long, this tour de force ballet, performed around the world, is both challenging and enchanting.
