The cast was energetic, but something was lacking. I never felt transported into the action on the stage. The actors' timing could have been better - maybe one really powerful actor would have give the show a more professonal feel. Sorry.

Fantastic performance of a vintage musical! The singing and dancing were outstanding! The sets and costumes were fresh and fun. A must see!

Very well done production of an old favorite. Sam Zell as Jud was as menacing as Rod Steiger was in the movie. Doug Carpenter as Curly has a wonderful voice. Someone to watch!

Set in the Oklahoma territory in the early 1900’s just before it becomes a state, this story of young love, cowboys and farmers has been a perennial favorite since it opened on Broadway in 1943. Celebrating the show’s  65th anniversary, the FCLO Music Theatre is mounting a big, fresh new production, starring Doug Carpenter as Curly and Rexy Romano as Laurie.

Known for its spectacular dancing and the innovative “dream ballet”, the show also  contains many tunes that have become popular standards, including “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin”, “The Surrey With the Fringe on Top”, “People Will Say We’re in Love”, “ I Can’t Say No”, and “Oklahoma!”.  The show is suitable for the entire family.
