The critically acclaimed Glendale Centre Theatre (GCT), now in its 64th year as the longest, continually-operating theatre in the United States, completes its 2011 season with its annual, breathtaking production of the Charles Dickens’ classic…_ A Christmas Carol_.

GCT Artistic Producer/Director Tim Dietlein directs a cast of twenty-seven in what has become a regionally acclaimed adaptation by GCT co-producer Brenda Dietlein who weaves text from the 1843 story into the script and narration in which ghosts remind stingy mercenary Ebenezer Scrooge that ‘mankind should be his business’ … a haunting reminder to everyone! Dickens’ carol of redemption seeks to reclaim Scrooge’s heart and in its song, elevates us all. Ms. Dietlein’s version of A Christmas Carol is not a musical, but incorporates original songs and carol arrangements.

Experience the joy of the holiday season with the GCT’s 47th consecutive production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, replete with a post-show snowfall in front of the theatre!
