The kids in the ballet were terrific. We had great seats. A very enjoyable performance.

This was a wonderful performance, considering that it featured a children's group. I have to say that the Russian Dancers was a big disappointment. I do appreciate, however, how the choreographers worked with whom they had and created a unique...continued

It was well done. I thought more mature dancers might have been picked for the Sugarplum and Calvalier roles though. The two did a good enough job. It seems every Nutcracker has its pluses and minuses.

The 6:30pm show is preceded by an optional, additional-cost The Land of the Sweets Party, which runs from 5:00pm to 6:15pm. At this festive gathering, an array of holiday desserts and seasonal beverages will be provided, along with live entertainment. There will also be photo opportunities with Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Nutcracker Prince and Santa Claus.

The Red Chair Children’s Production Co. is a non-profit performing arts organization which brings children’s performing arts to our community. Our programs focus on giving students 5-18 years of age an extraordinary theater and dance experience. We offer a program that challenges and inspires them to be confident young performers who grow into creative adults. In addition our unique programs feature professional teachers and performers that span all art forms and theatre disciplines. Students here at The Red Chair learn valuable life skills, such as teamwork, creativity, imagination, public speaking, problem solving, playfulness and responsibility – all in an atmosphere where it is safe to take creative risks.
