Legendary Voice of Supertramp, Roger Hodgson, at Ravinia Festival
With his distinctive tenor, Roger Hodgson was the primary voice for prog rock band Supertramp, writing and singing on most of the band's biggest hits, including "Breakfast in America," "Dreamer" and "Give a Little Bit." Hodgson is back on the road, and will bring his deep catalog and a few new songs to the Ravinia Festival for an up-tempo show under the stars. Since leaving Supertramp, Hodgson has released five albums, including two live recordings. Jam along with this remarkable talent in a concert you'll surely remember.

I made the mistake of getting a prepared Greek salad from the Ravinia Market. This "Greek" salad had a total of 2 olives, and about a teaspoon of tiny feta cheese crumbles. It had no peppers. But it had gobs of chickpeas - a cup of them. The offerings at the Market are overpriced in the first place, compared to what you can get from, say, Mariano's, but the salad itself was not worth half the price. When I told the manager, his reaction was "I'll tell the staff" and "is there anything else we can do for you?" Well, the answer to that second question is "no, not now or ever."star this tip starred
