Blues Master Buddy Guy and New Orleans Supergroup Funky Meters at Hollywood Bowl
Louisiana-born, Chicago-bred blues master Buddy Guy returns to the Hollywood Bowl with New Orleans supergroup Funky Meters. A true living legend, Eric Clapton himself has called the six-time Grammy-winning Guy "the greatest living blues guitarist in the world," and Guy's explosive electric style and showmanship have influenced legends ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Jimmy Page. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005, Guy was also named one of the top 25 guitarists in history by Rolling Stone and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012. Joining Guy are the Funky Meters blending funk, blues and dance grooves with a New Orleans vibe and special guest, guitarist Quinn Sullivan, a 14-year-old blues prodigy.
