Lemon Boots tells the story of a young girl named Lemon, identified by her lemon-colored boots, trying to make her way through a world without water; told almost entirely by the movement of 16 lemon ‘agents.’ The conception of Lemon Boots began in a Theater Devising class in January 2012 at California State University Long Beach, under the direction of Ezra LeBank; Head of Movement at CSULB and Director/Creator of Lemon Boots. Ezra has toured “virtuoso physical theatre” (Martin Denton, NY Theatre) performances around the world including a Five-Star show in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has taught and devised performance at The University of Motnana, The Juilliard School, SUNY Purchase, Smith College, and Vassar College.
