From time to time one will discover hidden gems (usually by word of mouth) in the city of Los Angeles. The Hudson Theatre is one of those gems indeed. "Private Eyes" is a memorable performance in which humor and raw human emotion are conveyed. Infidelity and lies (whether they be real or imagined) are the center of the story, and "truth" which is desired by all is just out of reach. Come and be intimate with the characters' story. Between the real and the unreal there are always "Private Eyes" watching. Well done!!!

Committed, generous performances by all the actors. Good direction that aided but did not encumber the story. Script/story was a little unclear at times but this approach is much preferable to being spoon fed. Over all, an enjoyable evening of...continued
Private Eyes is a comedy of suspicion in which nothing is ever quite what it seems. Matthew’s wife, Lisa, is having an affair with Adrian, a British theatre director. Or perhaps the affair is part of the play being rehearsed. Or perhaps Matthew has imagined all of it simply to have something to report to Frank, his therapist. And, finally, there is Cory — the mysterious woman who seems to shadow the others — who brings the story to its surprising conclusion. Or does she…?
