The boys of Baker Street have their most "Wilde" adventure yet in Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily, a new stage play from Katie Forgette (Assisted Living). History and fantasy mingle when Oscar Wilde brings his dear friend, the actress Lillie Langtry, to see detective Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson. Someone has stolen the highly intimate letters Lillie exchanged with the Prince of Wales, and now she is being blackmailed. Holmes takes the case, even doffing his deerstalker to disguise himself as a character from Wilde's upcoming play, The Importance of Being Forthright (working title). Meanwhile, Watson falls head-over-heels for Langtry as a wicked professor tries to disgrace the Crown. Doris Merten directs this Victorian romp at Theatre Suburbia. Learn More

Quotes & Highlights
- The show is perfectly polished, and every aspect of the production is simply magnificent ... Michael Allen Taylor has pristinely directed the show, ensuring that no joke falls flat and that the shows touches the heart as much as it tickles the ribs. His cast expertly personifies the people they portray, and by the end of the night the audience leaves feeling like they have made four new best friends." --broadwayworld.com
- "[A] sweetly intimate and positively perfect little ninety-minute musical (in two acts) about 2 guys writing a musical about 2 guys writing a musical. A more perfect musical has never been presented in Obsidian’s intimate thrust performance space ... Mr. Taylor’s casting is perfection. It is difficult to imagine anyone else in the four leading roles than the wonderful actors and singers he has cast." --Houston Chronicle
