Fast-Paced Farce Don't Dress For Dinner From The British Players
The British Players present Don't Dress For Dinner at Kensignton Town Hall. This fun and fast-paced farce about mistaken identity, adultery and gourmet cooking by French playwright Marc Camoletti was a smash hit when it opened in Paris. A sequel to Camoletti's popular comedy Boeing, Boeing, Don't Dress for Dinner follows the misadventures of Bernard, who plans a romantic weekend with his mistress while his wife Jacqueline is out of town. Bernard's plans go hilariously awry when his friend Robert decides to visit and Jacqueline (who is secretly having an affair with Robert) decides to stay in town. An evening of hilarious confusion ensues as Bernard and Robert improvise at breakneck speed to try to salvage the weekend.
