This was children's theater. The entire play was less than 1 hour. We were expecting something way more scary and sultry like the movie with Johnny Depp.

More Information

This production of Sleepy Hollow is part of The Youth Theatre Season; offering plays primarily aimed at children of elementary and middle school age. These may be existing plays or musicals based upon well-known, popular books or stories, but we also sometimes commission new stage adaptations. A note about the content of Youth Theatre plays at Laguna Playhouse: *

The content of the plays is typically similar to G-rated or PG-rated films. There may be scary scenes and, depending on the subject, there may be depictions of violence, as in many fairy tales. Please refer to each play description for specific content of each play in order to determine suitability for your child.
