Throwback to '80s Party Hits at The Greek
If you've ever wished you could hop in your DeLorean and go back to the '80s, this concert is about as close as you can get. Grammy-winning '80s sensation Culture Club headlines the show with the infectious blend of British new wave, American soul and Jamaican reggae that helped define a generation. Fronted by iconic singer-songwriter Boy George, the group has sold more than 50 million records worldwide since 1981, led by classic hits like "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me," "Karma Chameleon" and "I'll Tumble 4 Ya." Joining them for this show at L.A.'s Greek Theatre are quintessential party rockers the B-52s, whose chart-topping hits "Rock Lobster," "Roam" and "Love Shack" have provided the soundtrack for countless good times since the band's inception in 1976. Rounding out the program is the Thompson Twins' Tom Bailey, performing some of the legendary '80s group's hits like "Hold Me Now," "Doctor Doctor," "You Take Me Up" and "Love On Your Side" with the help of an all-female backing band.
