A young National Guardsman of Tuscarora heritage finds himself caught between cultures when a situation develops on the border of a small town in upstate New York and the Haudenosaunee reservation. He's faced with a life-changing choice: uphold his oath to defend his country or protect the sacred lands of his people. Written by Vickie Ramirez, who's of Tuscarora heritage herself, Stand-Off at HWY #37 is the latest world-premiere play from the Autry's acclaimed Native Voices series. Learn More

Very well-orchestrated and fun event! We started with an old west show featuring a gun-slinger and a rope handler. We then panned for gold, and the kids decorated horseshoes and western-themed posters. We went through some of the museum exhibits, and enjoyed the costumes worn by many of the museum guests who had come dressed for the day. Will most likely attend next year!
