We were pleased that they didn't gouge the consumer on the cost of drinks, snacks and T-shirts/hats. Everything was very low key and affordable. A nice group of people run this place.

The weather was fair. I wore casual clothes. It is not a fancy affair.

I was delighted by this wonderful play, which very elegantly balanced humor with the deeper, underlying dramatic themes.
High Ceilings's sharp witty dialog, wonderful acting, beautiful set design & superb directing was a pleasure to experience!

Enjoyed the play and the acting. Did not care about the lead actress, she seemed to over-act. A weird thing, is that three women, bride, her mother, and her grandmother, all appear to be the same age. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Description

Written by Jillian Crane. Directed by Valerie Landsburg.

In this hilarious, ensemble comedy, Lily, a reluctant bride-to-be, contends with her narcoleptic father, Midwestern diva mother, anxiety-riddled brother and a burgeoning attraction to the wedding florist. High Ceilings questions the meaning of love, marriage and whether or not Lily will fit into her wedding dress and leaves no family secret unexposed on Lily’s journey to discover her own true path.
