The L.A.Chamber Orchestra is a Los Angeles Treasure. Again, they put on a spectacular concert that received a standing ovation. My only complaint was a debut work that was a waste of time. The made up for it with marvelous Mozart and Beethoven.

Guest conductor Karina Canellakis, winner of the 2016 Sir Georg Solti Conducting Award, makes her second LACO appearance since 2015 in a program featuring Dai Fujikura’s Secret Forest, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 in D Major and Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 in C Minor performed by David Fray, a “gifted pianist” (Chicago Tribune).
