First coming to stardom in Japan as the guitarist for the visual kei rock band Dué le Quartz, Miyavi has since gone on to a successful solo career on the strength of his killer guitar chops and infectious melodies. Known for his finger-slapping guitar technique, this singer-songwriter, record producer and actor has toured 30 countries and released 10 hit albums, including his latest, Fire Bird, which features the singles "Afraid To Be Cool" and "Raise Me Up." He's also lent his talents to the rock supergroup S.K.I.N. and acted in films like Unbroken, directed by Angelina Jolie. Now, this international favorite comes to Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre in concert. This tour will stage 40 shows in 20 countries, and will be the largest world tour any Japanese artist has ever pulled off.
