A Profound Journey Through Science, Theater & Art
There's sensory overload, and then there's something we've dubbed "sensory overjoy." And that's exactly what you'll experience with William Kentridge's Refuse the Hour -- in which the South African artist speaks backwards and forwards in the midst of a Dadaistic landscape, surrounded by spinning dancers, megaphoned singers, live musicians and projected animation. Kentridge himself serve as the narrator, delving into the nature of time as he delivers a fragmented lecture about procrastination, myth, entropy, empire and black holes. Embark on this playful and profound journey to the outer edges of science, theater and art at UCLA's Royce Hall in Los Angeles.
