The lead performers are excellent. The book and music are, I'm sure, much better than the production would suggest. The limitations of space, of the recorded music, and of the ensemble make it less effective than it would be in a better...continued

We enjoyed attending a new work. The music was absorbing and very-well crafted. The cast was quite strong and the sets/lighting were excellent.

The story was very good although we're not sure how true it is .. the voices were terrific but the music was not wonderful... but it was a pleasant experience.

This historical adventure musical is ready for Broadway! It was a top-rate performance by top-rate actors and singers. We especially liked Meriweather Lewis, William Clark and, of course, the incomparable Sacagawea!

Kudos aplenty to one and...continued

Worth seeing this surprisingly good premiere production; excellent leading voices, especially Paz & Smith as Sacagawea & Clark; a few good songs as well. I thought it was a good musical dramatization of what might have happened during this...continued

Way too long, and not all that absorbing. The voices are good, and the set is interesting, but the dialogue just isn't very fascinating.

It was very well done. Love the fact that they created it themselves.
Would suggest the program give a little more of the history and how
they came to write it -

We did love it!

The acting and singing were superb. I am not a history buff though and I know some that were disturbed by the liberties taken.

If all the minor characters could sing like the leads, this would be a Broadway music!

Strong story with timeliness; sets supported scenes as to time and topography very well; stage prop (piourette) used very effectively; ambitious production; too long - badly in need of cropping of musical score, scene sequencing, and intervals for...continued

The vocals were outstanding and equal to any Broadway production or movie.
The acting was life like and real. Ryan Drummond as Lewis Meriwether, Morgan Smith as William Clark, Jennifer Paz as Sacagawea, and Joti Gore as York gave outstanding...continued

I read the reviews in the Contra Costa Times and thought I would take a chance and see it. From the very first scene, I knew that this was going to be an exceptional musical. The story was complicated and so well done that I was just blown away....continued
